Last post for BOAF

I just wanted to say how much I have enjoyed being on this DT and the kits are all ways so much fun to play with and I do not know how Amy combines all the different manufactures together to make the kit ...just amazing!!! I could never do it!!!
I needed to make some tags for my presents so I thought I would just go upstairs and use my scraps to make some tags for my presents so here are the tags that I made with the leftovers ...thanks for looking at all my work!!!

BOAF December Kit fun!!!

For these two pages that I completed I got the best picture of Colton telling Santa what he wanted for the holidays ....this Santa was just fabulous!! He sang Christmas Carols, he recited a poem and took sooo much time with each child ...so great!!!
 And then I used the kit also with some Disney pictures that i had left from our last visit!!!

Like I said in the last post I am addicted to this snow pen!!!
I added it to the chipboard piece , then heated it up, and then next spayed it with the mist in the kit ...super cool!!! I also saw these cute little trees on pinterest and cut them out of the paper and thought that would look great on this page ...and then I had to add more SNOW!!!

This last page I cut the chipboard in half and thought that it looked like part of Tomorrowland so I sprayed it blue and had it orbiting around my pictures of the signs!! Next, I spayed the glitter paper with the blue mist and let it drip down the paper ...so fun!!!

The Crafty Pickle "Elf Book"

So so so in love with this flat flair From The Crafty Pickle ...this is some of the different flair I am going to be using in my "Elf on a Shelf" album!!! 

For documenting in my album I will be using the Whimsical December "Real" glitter flair HERE for the different days of the week of the photos... but first I wanted to add a see through page with some fun embellishments along the side ..I punched some snow flakes from my leftover Pathfinders Collection from CTMH, added some Christmas Holiday Sequin from the etsy shop, and for sure the personalized Elf button flair to the front pocket!!!

 

Then on the first page I used the CTMH "Heartstrings" paper pack paper, mini calendar stamp,whimiscal december glitter flair, and the star stamp from artiste set.

 

On the third page I made a little pocket with the clear envelope from the stamp set and added Christmas Holiday sequin and a deer, Then on the top I added on of my "Elf on the shelf" personalized flair ...so cute!!!

I also added to this page the Red pattern color pop flair and some more of the wonderful sequin!!

BOAF December Holiday Kit!!

This kit is so fabulous for all your holiday photos to scrap ...i just had so much fun with this color combo and the "pop" of silver in the kit!!

This kit has soooo many different embellishments to play with ...chipboard, 3-D snowflakes, mist, trim, snowflake cut out and pearls!!!!
This first page I changed to black and white to match to paper and embellishments for fun!! I had fun with the pen and did not heat it up and used it as a normal white pen and then I added all the different snowflakes to the page!!



And then here is the close-up:



When we are up at my in-laws we always go out and remember other family members that have passed and decorate out there also!!!  Let's just say I am having way way way tooo much fun with the snow pen ....you have to get this from the store ...right HERE ...it is a must have!!!

Starting "Elf on the Shelf" with The Crafty Pickle

I am doing some prep work for my "Elf on a Shelf" album for my little one this year!!!

We just bought him so this is going to be fun this year with this cute little elf ...who knows what he is going to get into!!

I used an album that had red in it for the cute Elf and I used on this wooden piece Ranger silver super fine embossing powder ,next I added cork to the circle and with Black Stazon I used the star in the Artiste stamp set in the background. Next, I made a snowflake with the Pathfinder paper from Close to my Heart, backed the "Elf on the Shelf" flair with red cardstock that you can get in the store.

I started to make some fun cards to put in the "Elf" book and made this cute tree with the camera, red and elf on the shelf flair from the store. I also used Cricut Artbooking Collection stamps,some more of the Pathfinder Collection, the Christmas sequins, and then clear sequins that comes in the packaging!!! Here is a link to her Store

SIWAS December Challenge!!!

Hello everybody! 

Here is all ready the last challenge of 2014.. In a month full of holidays, Christmas trees and Jingle bells it has to be a Christmas challenge of course... So I have chosen for 2 songs who have a link with this theme.

The Crafty Pickle Halloween Page!!

When you are trying to get a cute fast page of one of your trick or treaters ...here is a fun way to use the Pathfinder Paper pack with layering a few of the papers underneath your photo and then cutting little black circles under the Halloween button flair from The Crafty Pickle Shop to make them standout on the page!!
 Then I turned one of the flair into a badge for the "Best Costume Ever!!" award, then I scattered the Autumn sequins mix with small staples over the page and added the star stamp from the Close to my Heart stamp set Artiste. I also stamped the leaves with Brown Stazon and the used water colors to make the leaves match my page!!

The Crafty Pickle Thankful for cards!!!

Hi Kristin here with my first blog post for The Crafty Pickle and I thought that this "Thankful Heart" stamps set just screamer for me to make some pocket pages cards for the kids to write what they were "Thankful" for this year!!

On the top left hand corner cards I thought that I would put a 5X7 picture of my family and I would slide it under the "Thankful Heart" stamped sentiment, then on the cards the kids would write over the wood grain embossing folders from Close to my Heart Heart and all the different techniques I tried with the 3 different leafs stamps that were in the Thankful Heart stamp set, and then I added the arrow button flair set on the cards for you to follow your eyes around the layout!!!

Technique Tuesday by Kristin!!!

I am just in love with this kit and all the wood grains and the great fall colors with the "Pop" of teal ... and the Core'dinations Kraft Core Cardstock by Tim Holtz  ...love love love!!!!

This paper is just so much fun to play with and the pictures of the two different flowers do not do it justice ...so pretty and different!!!

Here is what you need for this technique:
November Kit
Water pen or water to mist
Gelato (any color you want) or water color
Embossing folder

 

Rub the Gelato or water color all over the raised part of the embossing folder

 
Get the folder and gelato wet...

 
Run it thru with the paper to get the image you want....let dry and then sand to let the core come through!!!
