"Get Your Glitz on Challenge" #2

I was so in love with these beautiful colors from these papers ...they are wonderful for any kind of photos.... I used them for my boy pages, a picture of my husband and me and then one with my girlfriends by the pool last summer ...loved playing with these papers and embellishments ....

I do alot of clustering in my pages ...these flowers were screaming for me to cut them out and cluster them on a page and then I outlined the flowers also to make them "pop" a little more ...and thn made an envelope for the page!!!

I had fun with this page by cutting out flowers with the Love Games: What Not's and then adding a little blue paint to them ...

National Scrapbooking Day

Step into Spring Blog Hop

Hello and Welcome to my blog! Today we are celebrating the beginning of a new season with the Step into Spring Blog Hop brought to you by the Design Team from Memorable Seasons! Mine is the letter R ....for "Repurpose" ......something that you would throw away or not normally use for scrapbooking ...like packaging from your scrapbooking supplies, cupcake liners, popcycle sticks, etc.

And here is my example up to this point. I used the different packaging and sewed it down to be one of my background pieces ...and then later you will see that I used the backing from the sun Jenni Bowlin Stamp as part of my journaling block ....

How to make a fast Banner!!!

From this months kit that Jill sent me I received these two wonderful decorative pieces of paper and wanted to do something different with them so I decided to cut them up and make a banner with them ...so I had my handy engineer husband divided them out for me ...(he tried to tell me how to do it but I just batted my eyes at him and he marked them for me)

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
So I cut both at the same time and then just trimmed the other piece a little smaller to fit inside the other one and then just punched holes at the top and made this cute little banner that is hanging in my scrap room ....

Did my first sketch...

This last Friday night we had a "Happy Hour" at Memorable Seasons and I did the sketch for the hour long sketch ...we had over 10 gals participate that evening ...but you can still do my sketch and be in the running for this months challenges at Memorable Seasons ...here is the sketch ....check out all the other pages here

And here is the page that I did.... I took this picture on my way to work-out with my camera on my phone and I think it turned out pretty good except for all the wrinkles on my face ....

March Kit **Imaginisce**

I was worried about this paper because it was circus related ...but I had a wonderul time using this paper ...totally inlove with the colors ...made such great pages with all the blue's, orange's, green's and dark red ...totally in love with this paper!!!
